There is nothing to say, just play!

So often our desire to make a meaningful performance will hinder it to be free. Music for
example exists in a realm where words are meaningless, so why do we try to belittle music
by putting verbal meaning into it.

“I want my music to inspire.”
“I want the audience to like me.”
“I want to prove that I am a good musician.”
“I want.”

If you want something, you are not free. Become free of the burden of desire. Only when
your music means nothing, it will mean everything.
Beauty is just a bait; it is as a flame that attracts a fly in the night. Beauty only serves to
draw you in, it is not the truth. Do not reach for beauty as it will eventually manifest its
opposite, because there is no beauty without ugliness.

Your desire to do good will create suffering for others.
Don´t be good. Just be.
There is nothing to say, just play.

Connect to the dimension of pure vibration and just channel it. Share your connection to the
divine with others, without the burden of desire. Just share. Just play.
Once you reach the state that you just play because that is what you do, then you are free.
Don´t desire to be successful, you only succeed in being successful if others are
unsuccessful.

You mean nothing.
Embrace it.
All you have achieved is worthless.
Accept it.
All your successful auditions and accumulation of social and financial wealth is meaningless.
Enjoy it.
Because it also means that all your failures don´t mean anything.
Be grateful for it.

All your flawed performances don´t carry the burden of meaning.
It is you that carries the burden of meaning.

There is nothing to say, just play.

Don´t play for others.
Don´t play for yourself.
Don´t play for money.
Don´t play for a cause.
Don´t play for anything.
Just play.
Meaning is for your ego.

Why do we pursue happiness when we know that it will create sadness for others?
Why do you practice for hours to win an audition when you know that if you win, somebody
else will lose?
Why do you polish your horn, when you know that it will require other horns to be
unpolished, so that people will notice that your horn is polished?
Why do you aim for the perfect embouchure when you know that that desire will manifest
imperfect embouchures in either yourself or others?

Just drop it.
Give it up.
Give up your desire to be good.
You will do good if that is what you do.
You will do bad if that is what you do.
It does not matter as it exists within the dimension of duality.
Transcend the duality that surrounds you.
See the perfection in a missed note.
See the sadness in a perfect performance.

There is nothing to say, just play.
Be free.
